A trailer commissioned by the Images Festival for the 2014 screening programme.

An uninterrupted handheld tracking shot documents a Rube Goldberg machine made from film and video equipment, loosely representing some of the steps between screenwriting and projection. When the chain-reactions do not go as smoothly as planned, the hand of the filmmaker has to visibly intervene and get things back on track. As disparate components come together to form a linear whole, themes of improvisation, revision, make-do and mid-course-correction emerge to take center stage.
